Linseeds (aka Flaxseeds).

Are a good source of omega-3 fatty acid. And since I don’t eat fish, I have at least 2-3 tablespoons of this stuff a day. Normally with my breakfast/Green Smoothie and on top of any salads or soups I may eat.

I was never keen on consuming the Linseeds in seed form, and for a while I used to buy this branded ‘Linseed Meal’, which was basically Linseeds blended. This used to cost me about £5 for a 250g bag from Holland & Barratt! Then I realised that I could easily buy a 500g bag of linseeds for £3.69 and blend them myself and get 3x as much linseed meal than I would if I bought it already prepared. Its really easy to prepare, and if you’re interested in trying linseeds for the first time its an easier way of introducing them into your daily diet :-)
